I love driving around Vermont, meeting new people, discovering unique characteristics about each property and feeling the distinct neighborhood vibes.  I have lived in a dozen towns throughout Northern and Central Vermont.  I have also spent a lot of time in Southern Vermont visiting family and friends.  There are so many unique businesses hidden in the mountains and valleys that are fun to visit, hiking trails to explore, clean lakes and rivers to swim, fish, and boat, scenic areas to ride bikes, wildlife to view, beautiful natural areas with a variety of plants and flowers to see and photograph, that it is hard to run out of things to do.  I also enjoy skiing, gardening, and creating artwork.

Prior to entering college I wore many types of hats trying different career paths and meeting people from all walks of life.  I was always curious to learn what made other people tick.  I decided I did not want to leave Vermont and ended up earning my Marketing Management Degree at Champlain College along with landing on the Dean’s List.  I did my internship at Merrill Lynch cold-calling customers to encourage retirement savings along with other financial projects.  Upon graduation I started my career at Hampton Direct, Inc.  I was their first employee and gained experience in all areas of the business including accounting, purchasing, shipping & receiving international and domestic goods, human resources, marketing, and sales.  I also communicated with businesses throughout Asia, Europe, and Canada.  The majority and final years were primarily focused on sales to mail order, As Seen On TV, internet, retail, and wholesale customers throughout the country.  Product development and facilitating communication flow between departments was also part of my focus.

Ever since I purchased my first home in Shelburne back in 1999 I have been looking at properties throughout Vermont and I just can’t stop.  I would find myself surfing the internet, flipping through real estate magazines and newspapers, discovering good values, gauging the market, and guessing which homes were going to be sold first even though I was happy with the house and condo I already owned.  When I decided to start a new career, after taking time off following the birth of my children, it just made sense to do something I was passionate about.  I now live in Mendon with them and our pets in our little house on top of the hill with a beautiful view.  My family says I’m a real estate nerd and I’m ok with that.

I am an Accredited Buyer's Representative and Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist ready to help you find and secure your ideal property or sell your home.
