Killington Pico Realty supports the proud and courageous people of Ukraine. Like so many of you, we are devastated to witness the unrest and senseless violence occurring in Ukraine. Now and in the immediate future, the Ukrainian people will need support from the global community to rebuild their lives and their country. To do our part, the entire Killington Pico Realty team has pledged to contribute 1% of every dollar we earn helping our clients buy and sell property this year to international organizations and charities dedicated to Ukrainian relief efforts. We are a small, independent real estate brokerage and our contributions may seem like a drop in the bucket, but in the inspirational words of the great cultural anthropologist, Margaret Mead:
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has."
Our first contribution was to the International Rescue Committee, which is currently collecting funds to provide life-saving support to Ukrainians forced to flee their homes amid the conflict. Along with the IRC, there are numerous worthy organizations currently on the frontlines of the crisis working tirelessly to provide relief to Ukrainian citizens.
